Terms & Conditions for Moverport
Last Updated: August 5, 2026
Welcome to Moverport Logistics ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Moverport mobile application and our website accessible at moverportlogistics.com. By booking a vehicle shipment or accessing our services, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. Booking & Vehicle Information
-Accuracy of Data: The User must provide accurate vehicle details during the booking process, including the exact Plate Number, Brand & Model, and Vehicle Type (e.g., Small Car, Sedan, Big Car, Bike).
-Verification: Moverport Logistics reserves the right to re-measure or re-classify the vehicle category upon arrival at the port. If the vehicle dimensions or type differ from the booking data, additional charges may apply based on the actual vessel space occupied.
2. Documentation Requirements
We use the information collected for the following operational purposes:
Before the vehicle can be loaded onto the RORO vessel, the User must provide valid copies of the required port clearance documents, which may include:
- Vehicle Registration Card (Geran).
- Owner's IC Copy.
- Bank Release/Authorization Letter (if the vehicle is under an active bank loan).
- Customs Declaration Form (for specific tax-exempt zones, if applicable).
3. Payment & Invoicing
Manual Invoicing: Upon successfully submitting a vehicle booking request through the app, Moverport will generate and send an official invoice to the User via email or WhatsApp.
- Payment Clearance: Full payment must be settled via the designated manual bank transfer methods before the vehicle is delivered to the port terminal. Vehicles will not be loaded onto the RORO ship without a cleared invoice payment.
4. Shipment Tracking & Statuses
Tracking Estimates: The tracking history and shipment statuses (Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, Arrived) displayed in the Moverport app are based on real-time port logistics and vessel schedules.
Delays: While we strive for punctual deliveries, sailing schedules are subject to changes due to weather conditions, port congestion, or maritime authorities' regulations. Moverport is not liable for structural delays caused by force majeure.
5. Cargo & Personal Belongings
Loose Items: Users are strictly advised not to leave valuable personal belongings, electronic gadgets, or loose items inside the vehicle during transit.
Liability: Moverport Logistics and the vessel operators are only liable for the vehicle itself. We do not assume any liability for the loss or damage of personal items left unsecured inside the vehicle.
6. Insurance & Claims
Marine Insurance: All vehicle shipments are subject to standard marine cargo insurance terms. Optional marine insurance extensions can be arranged during the invoicing phase for premium coverage.
Inspection: Users must inspect their vehicle immediately upon collection at the destination port. Any damage claims must be reported to the port officer and Moverport admin within 24 hours of vehicle release, supported by photographic evidence.
7. Account Deletion Restriction
Active Shipments: In compliance with our operational and accounting tracking, users cannot delete their Moverport account if there is an active shipment in progress (status: Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, or Arrived). Account deletion requests can only be processed once all bookings are completed or officially cancelled.
