At Moverport Logistics ("we," "our," or "us"), accessible from https://www.moverportlogistics.com and through our mobile application, one of our main priorities is the privacy of our users.
This Privacy Policy applies to the Moverport mobile application available on the Google Play Store, as well as our official website. It outlines the types of information that are collected, recorded, and processed, and how we handle user data in compliance with standard regulations and Google Play Developer Policies.
1. Information We Collect
We collect personal and device information necessary to provide logistics and shipment tracking services, user authentication, and customer support.
-Personal Information: We collect personal information such as your name, phone number, and email address when you register an account, update your profile, or place shipment bookings.
-SMS Authentication Data: Phone numbers are collected to send One-Time Passwords (OTP) via SMS for secure login and account verification purposes.
-Shipment & Delivery Data: Details related to your car or cargo shipments, pickup/delivery locations, and order status history.
-Log and Device Data: Basic technical logs including IP addresses, operating system version, and unique device identifiers to monitor app stability and performance.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information collected for the following operational purposes:
- To create, manage, and secure your user account.
- To authenticate user sign-ins via SMS OTP verification.
- To process, manage, and update shipment status (e.g., Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, Arrived).
- To communicate important updates, order notifications, and customer support responses.
- To maintain application integrity, prevent fraud, and comply with legal requirements.
3. Third-Party Services & SDKs
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties. However, we utilize trusted third-party service providers to facilitate app operations:
- Google Firebase: We use Firebase for backend data storage, database management, and user authentication (SMS verification). Firebase may process device identifiers and phone numbers strictly to maintain secure user sessions and facilitate sign-ins.
- Hosting Services: Website and server infrastructure providers that assist in running our core services securely.
All third-party service providers are obligated to protect your information and are restricted from using your data for any purpose other than facilitating our app services.
4. Account & Data Deletion Policy
Users have full control over their personal data and possess the right to request permanent account deletion at any time.
How to Delete Your Account In-App:
1.Open the Moverport app and tap the Account tab on the bottom menu.
2.Select Delete Account.
3.Confirm your selection in the prompt dialog.
Active Shipment Exception:
For operational, accounting, and legal tracking reasons, users cannot delete their account while they have active shipments in progress (statuses: Pending, Confirmed, Shipped, or Arrived). Once all active shipments are completed or cancelled, account deletion can be processed immediately.
Web / Email Deletion Requests:
If you are unable to access the mobile application, you can submit a manual deletion request by emailing us at admin@moverportlogistics.com. Upon verification, your account record and associated personal data will be permanently erased from our databases within 30 days.
5. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. However, please note that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure.
6. Children's Privacy
The Moverport mobile application is intended for adult users (aged 18 and older) managing logistics and vehicle shipping. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately so we can purge the data.
